at first glance: wow this is great.
at further inspection: all of the effects need a lot of work, most of them fade or doesn't glow where they should glow (i.e tracers. they shouldn't be there anyways tho)
posing is mostly fine.

The scene is amazing, I really like this one, effects and posing wise.
(The only thing that is bothering me is the smoke cloud in the middle background, looks awfully pasted-on)

While I don't particularly like the tracers, I think the effect you used could be really excellent for smoking debris thrown out from an explosion.

Posing is solid, effects aren't too bad. Tracers need work but half of those shouldn't be there anyway - the only thing you would ever see firing tracers in WWII is a machine gun or cannon. I absolutely detest the WaW models (as anyone who reads my posts at all should well know by now), but I'll let that slide since the picture is so good overall. Just try and use better models next time so I don't have an aneurysm.

The RnL models aren't perfect, but they're not as fucked up proportionally as the WaW ones. They also don't have that really annoying sheen to them that makes them look like they've been cling-wrapped. As far as tanks go the FH2 pack isn't bad (assuming it's still floating around), but once BtZ releases his World of Tanks pack that should have everything you'll ever need.
Once Heroes of Stalingrad comes out and someone figures out how to get models across from it without shittifying them in the process, though, we'll have every German and Russian model we'll need ever.

Early next year last I heard, and that's Tripwire time rather than Valve time so it should be fairly accurate

It means that this is an old thread. People stopped posting on it since last year. The thread is pretty much dead; reviving something like this is pointless and clogs up the front page with stuff that we've seen ages ago.
