    Oh no, another recurring character...

I wanted to do a little more in regards to Jack the Raptor. Pushing my limits of photoshop hacking. Then, upon recently, I decided that the picture was in desperate need of shadows. So, I tried my take at that. Discovered numerous ways of doing it...

Comments, criticism, further ideas, anything and everything [to an extent] is welcome.

It actually looks better on a white background than it does on my desktop's black one.

The shadow for the raptor on the left, his shadow has no hand, but apart from that I love it, looks like someone just walked in on them like some kid who's caught jerking off by his mum.

What part doesn't make sense? The raptor people? Or the lighting and what not?

I agree, but there's nothing wrong with a little abstract imagination.

I'm excited to see shadows in this picture. Posing is nice and the photoshoped heads look really nice, I thought at first that was inflator work.

In a way it is. But that is mere technicality.

    Thanks

    This is awesome.

    And the lighting is good.

And my eyes are still intact and not frazzled like usual from the highlights. Nice work, sir!

get rid of the noise and the color could use serious tweaking

    Edited:

lighting-wise it's OK but it's seriously got way too much noise -- that and it looks like you wanted to, like, add blue shadows to increase the amount of gritiness but instead forgot to add green/orange tints for the highlights and so the entire picture looks cool and uninteresting

I did a model hack of that same raptor model in a suit earlier in the year.

    Spooky.

I don't think i ever released it though, can't remeber.

Image thumb'd the picture as to not distract away from your work.

But i think you did better making them in photoshop than i did model hacking, and that shows some real skill.

Reminds me of a book I read about a zoologist who's called in to help the cops capture a creature killing people in a city.

    Pretty good stuff.
