It's an admirable attempt and I like the scale of what you have attempted here... but it's just so flawed.

Really, really wonky posing - look up some reference pictures of firing stances.
Poor train of thought here too - a lot of it just doesn't make any sense. Like all the different units fighting together (Russian police[?], various different US camouflages etc.). The 'Mexican' guys don't look Mexican (apart from maybe the Arab dude getting shot could sort of pass for Mexican... sort of... nah not really who am I kidding?). Also, the blood splatter coming from a cop who is lying stationary on the ground and the random destroyed plane parked perfectly across the road.
The muzzleflashes are unnecessary because a: realistically, you wouldn't see them in strong daylight and b: you can barely see what you have edited in anyway.
I don't understand what is trailing the Harrier. Vapour trails are white, not black, and engine trails (although barely visible anyway) come from the engine(s)... not the wings. Look at some reference pictures and you would know this. Also, the effect is very 2D - it should have shadows and highlights just like every other object.
I guess that's all I can spot right now. Keep on truckin.

Tone the bloom down, get models that fit the scene, work some more on the posing and you would have a really nice screenshot.

I don't know TOO much about drug trafficking and illegal immigration but I'm PRETTY sure that the drug traffickers don't pick fights with the U.S Army, illegal immigrants don't shoot their way into the country, Mexicans ARE MEXICAN, and that the U.S Military wouldn't send U.S Soldiers and Humvees with machine guns to deal with them. And the posing for the firing stances suck. And why is that plane crashing? (The one in midair)
It just needs some work and less effects.

Even if it does stop a round (which they do, but only for lower-powered calibres and from certain ranges), you are still being hit by an object moving at up to 3,000 feet per second. You don't just take a hit and shrug it off, that shit can lead to cracked ribs and other problems.

We have National Gaurd Troops Deployed at the border currently however they do not cruise around for joy rides In M1 Abrahms main battle tanks and Bradley IFV's. And the drug cartels are not stupid enough to get into a fight with the U.S. Military.
