I had to look real close to even notice the red border

When I sit back in my chair, I can't see it, so I don't complain
It's not about whether you can consciously see it or not because it has a subconscious effect. It's so cheap; all you have to do to apply it to the picture is press one button and then there you go - you have a picture idiots will lap up like it's the Mona Lisa. What makes it more annoying is that it's totally out-of-place on 90% of pictures because it is an entirely man-made effect that the human eye never sees on its own.

Thankfully, this picture sort of lies in the other 10%... sort of.

... why would I be jealous about something I could go and create in 30 seconds by clicking a filter on Photoshop? Jealously stems from being unable to achieve something that others have managed, if you can replicate their achievements with incredibly minimal effort then there is no reason to be jealous.

just sayin', his '30 seconds' effect picture has gotten more artistics and praise than most of your posing for hours and then editing for days work.

i know i'd be jealous as hell. but then again, i can be pretty immature in situations like that.

not saying he is better overall. tbh i kinda miss your work.
