This is why I say you can't really say one is vastly superior to another because you're either making more money but paying for things like healthcare or you're making less money and getting it free.
It's more personal preference than anything. Either way, you're still paying for them.

Private research is kept under lock and key because if it leaked to the competition, there would be no point in doing the research. This leads to the same research being done multiple times needlessly due to corporate politics.
Public research is published and everyone is allowed to access it. Everyone benefits and if you do not use the research, your competition will and you will fall behind.
Republicans bitched about medicaid.
Republicans bitched about social security.
Now they are bitching about Healthcare over the smallest whims. They are trying undo everything the Democrats worked for, rather than just refine the rough parts of Healthcare with some good legislation.
medicare is already having problems.
but then again the dark ages just refers to what was happening in europe at the time. everyone else could have been thriving for all you know.
I dislike the core of both parties. I am more afraid of hardcore liberals than the extreme hardcore conservatives, simply because the extreme left tends to act on their beliefs more. Not talking about politicians here, but more groups of people.
Some people seem to have misunderstood my post. I was bashing the fact he says that the conservatives are a good choice because all they're doing is fighting for capitalism, which that isn't the truth.
