Pretty good for a character shot, but as has been said i'm not sure the drop shadow works. Also, and I know this is a bit rich coming from me, but personally I think the rim lighting is a bit overdone/matt.
Again, I know this was just a character shot so you probs weren't really fussed with editing, but blurring the background might have made the character stand out more and helped shift the focus purely into the subject.
Want me to see if I can find Zeem's old high-res metrocop skin? I'm sure i've got it kicking around, and if you want i'll shunt it over.
Looking forward to the comic, even though I've completely forgotten what it's about.
Now that you've pointed it out (the background blurring), I can't believe I forgot to do that! Furthermore, cannot believe I didn't notice. I did it on my other one, though.
I wouldn't mind getting the high-res metrocop, but unless it replaces the old metrocop's body completely I don't know whether I'd want to get it. Doing so would require me to ask people to help me get this model back (this head on the high-res body) seeing as I know diddly shit about hacking and whatnot. And, no offense to those who have helped me with such things as models or hackings, but often they can be unreliable where I happen to be waiting on them get it completed.
The shadow and lighting thing was something I wanted to try out. I wasn't sure whether or not it would be good, but I tried it anyhow.
Thanks for the comments, everyone.
